Australia MCS Wheel Alignment in Sydney - a question

So it looks like our MCS might need its front wheels aligned. After several months driving around Sydney's third-world-quality streets, that doesn't surprise: the tyres are wearing ever so slightly more at the outside edges. I intend to have the fronts swapped with the rears and then a full wheel alignment performed.

I have within easy reach of me on Sydney's Lower North Shore the normal selection of Bob Janes, Mathews and Beaurepaires along with a large selection of private companies offering similar services.

Is there anything I should know before approaching these guys? Any horror stories about one or all of them? How much should I expect to pay?

Thanks in advance, guys.

Matt

The best wheel alignment is in Punchbowl. Cnr of Belmore and Canterbury Rds.
This guy has been there for decades and used to race minis back in the day..
I took mine there and he was honest enough to tell me after looking at it, that it didnt need one.
I have a 1970 VG Valiant and it steers better than a Porsche thanks to him.

How good or bad an alignment is really a subjective at best. Everyone's demand and driving style is a wee bit different, after all.

East Coast Suspensions might be a bit closer to Miranda some of the track boys I know swears by it and won't go anywhere else.

Punchbowl for wheel alignment?
Great area to go....um yeah...
Still, I'm sure a lot of mini drivers won't mind dodging the odd bullet, car jacking or middle eastern gang attack to get themselves a bargain.
Leave your credit cards and wristwatch at home though.
