There's a fairly big car event on this weekend:

11 Nov 07 > Maurice Brockwell Memorial Run
Annual drive day with a range of current and classic cars! join clubMINI to show our support - Mini Garage (Auto Classic), Victoria Park 9:00am for a 9:30am start

This run has been going for a while now and is very popular. I've missed the last few. I think it ends a Whiteman Park (bush setting just north of Perth) where there is a good car museum.

Mike should be able to fill you in on the finer details and what to expect from the day.

Sadly after two weeks of doing nothing I am going to Karratha on Friday morning and offshore in the afternoon, but if it gets delayed further then I will be there. thank you for the info.

clubMINI doesn't organise anything for the Brockwell Run although some of us do the run.
It is a great chance to see a lot of good classic cars and the museum at Whiteman Park is always worth a look. The cars assemble at Ryrie Reserve, Throssell Street, Como from 9:00 with first cars away at 10:00.

clubMINI has a run to Freo Prison on Saturday morning and a tour of the prison. I'm sure that if you wanted to join us then we could find a spare seat somewhere or you could try and keep up in the Evo

let me know if you want some details.
