| He claims that the car will be taken to Canterbury Mini Garage tomorrow if I don't decide by tonight. He wants a substantial amount to confirm my intentions to purchase, which is fair enough I guess. It seems as though he is on a tight schedule and is due to fly out of oz soon. Anyone near Kogarah kind enough to do a favour for me? A slab of your favourite beer is on offer. |

| Dodgy?/ This sounds like a variation on an Ebay scam. Have you confirmed that the vehicle even exists? It is easy to put up photos on a website. If the buyer is adamant, offer to put the money in escrow...that way he is guaranteed to get it if you are happy. Otherwise, there shall be other MINI's. Cheers, Tony |

| I'm not going to be able to go ahead with it anymore anyway, just did some sums and Im falling a bit short. The car does exist, I have got the VIN and photo ID of the owner with his address on it and everything checks out ok. They don't want a dealer to take it and then on sell it for thousands more...If it is still around in mid November, I'd reconsider. This was the car.... | 21blue, have you looked at a new one? I paid less than that for mine, and mine was brand new. The only difference being mine is a manual. If your prepared to wait 3 months for it to be built and delivered, I would definitely go with a new one. You can then spec it to your exact requirements. Life's fun in black and white |
