Dyno Night Sydney

I have made enquires about a Dyno Night here in Menai.

A car tuning place in Menai have a Dyno Dynamics 4500 Dyno. They said that they can run a Dyno Night provided we roll up with between 15 and 25 cars.

For thirty five dollars you get two runs with print-outs. The night starts at 17:30 (5:30 pm) and generally finishes by 21:30 (9:30 pm). They have fans to keep the cars cool during their dyno run.

The 1st of Feb has been booked for the Dyno Night.

Another feature of the Dyno run is that you will get a reading of your exhaust emissions and boost reading.

I'm keen-ish. Another dyno that has been used a lot by the Vortex crew is Mainline at Revesby. It's just off the M5 so is very convenient for me.

Is the Dyno open to all types of cars (ie. FF NA)? Any spectating cause im interested what MCS pulls out +different mods.

The "Dyno Night" might end up being a clubMini event. In that case, it will be a Mini only event. If clubMini do not want to be part of it, I will open it up to other types of cars.

Spectators are welcome provided no one objects to the presence of spectators prior to the event.

Sounds like it'll be a good turnout.
I worked in a workshop with a dyno for sometime & have spent plenty of time with my racecar on them, they can be a great tuning/diagnostic tool.
A word of warning though...if your clutch is not 100% dont risk it, just for the sake of a printout with a hp/torque curve.
