No doubt I may be missing something here, and I apologize if that is the case, but I need to ask the question anyway.
I was quoted $460 for a set of floor mats for the Cooper S, at my local mini garage. As you'd expect, I was a little stunned, and figured that I must be able to get them elsewhere.
I have looked at various sites like Minimaniauk, etc, and costs are ok, but the cost of getting them sent out here is quite exxy.
Is there someone locally that sells floor mats for the mini? Has anyone had any experiences bringing them in from overseas?

What mats are you after ? plain carpet or JCW checkered ?
Also what model Mini ?

It's a Black Mini Cooper S R53 (2004).
So I am trying to keep the black theme going, so I think black carpet mats would look good. As much as the rubber mats are kind of useful too - especially as I wear steel caps to work and they tend to drag in all sorts of grit on their soles.
The checkered JCW mats look kind of cool.
Although the way it's going, I'd almost settle for anything!

I've seen a few MINI's on carsales and that, that don't have mats in them.... if that's the case I'm sooo taking the mats outta my car the day I sell it! HAHA! My MINI mats are like new as I have a set of Pioneer ones that are over the top of them!

I have a set of genuine Mini black carpet mats that are like new, i replaced them with the JCW checkered ones. pm me if your interested.

I kept the grey mats out of my ol Indi Blue Cooper that i had. I even took out the glovebox that i fitted and put the original shelf back in!
So if anyone is after a glove box or a set of mats, just let me know!

Yep, I got mine from there.

After asking the dealer about them.... which first resulted in a flat denial that they existed, and then when pressed resulted in a comedy price of hundreds of dollars. Bugger em, turned up in no time from Outmotoring.

do you have to let them know you have a RHD car or can it fit both?

Outmotoring seems to have the best balance of product and shipping prices and i will be putting in an order soon!

You know, I seriously didn't think to ask. They fit perfectly though... Very good quality matts, though they can look grubby when the white checkers get a bit of dirt on them. Pff

ha...Rolfe Classic parts in canberra recently tried to flog me a set of front rubber mats for 20 bucks! he said he was going to start throwing up random leftover bits he had on ebay....if you're still looking pm me and I could ask him if he still has them...

Argh no remember last time we went in, he said he sold them on ebay for $1.25... or something ridiculious like that!
