This week - it's been Winton, Longreach and Roma - back to Brisbane today, Melbourne tonight, and back to Brisbane on Sunday.

I plan to be riding my motorcycle through St. George in mid April - for fun, not work this time!

I see DSC is standard but the hill stop has gone missing as has stop/start.

Mine had DSC and it didn't have it. I know I read it was standard on the euro clubman, as was the regenerative braking (pretty weak but better than nothing). I did hear someone tell me that their MINI had it which surprised me.

Noticed the lack of stop start on a new JCW Cooper S we took for a test drive, do we not get it here??

Correct: Stop/Start is not available in Australia.

Regarding Hill Assist: I'd be surprised if they dropped it, it's been standard on all R56's to date and is unrelated to DSC. If they did drop it from the standard spec, I'm sure they would add it as (another) for-cost option.

I believe you are wrong in 2 ways here Swgn. HSA is not standard on all R56s - I don't have it on mine.

...And it is related to DSC - if you have DSC on your R56 you will have HSA. If you don't have DSC you won't have HSA

Thanks for the correction Quickbrick..

From the R56 brochure: DSC also includes hill assist, which prevents the car from rolling backwards on slopes.
