Hey Hey,

Driving home last night along Power St in Hawthorn, spotted what I intially thought was an R56 MCS

and started to wave, as I do. Anyhow, suddenly realised that it was a Brown MINI, nothing less than Hot Chocolate and as it went passed, it turned out to be a new Clubman, still manically waving I saw another 8 Clubmen, Clubman's, go past all in different colours.

By this point I had stopped in the Middle of the road and was just staring and waving at them going past! So apologies to anyone that was behind me, and no I am not strange to those that were in the Clubman's looking at me weirdly!

Anyhow, I know that the dealership training is going on this week, so it am pretty sure that was what they were up to! But cool nontheless!

Anyhow, got home to find an invite to the ClubMania party on the 9th Mar,

Anyone else on here going?

Got my invite for the 6th March down on Lorimer St.
Still have no idea on the delivery date for my Clubman

last I got told the BMW computer system that tracks these things was busted......

Hi,

The computer is not busted, the clubman is just "embargoed". Yours may well be here allready sitting in storage. With a new model like this they are not allowed to release any cars, or any information about them until after the official launch

Are you sure you weren't just having one of those "MINI" dreams you sometimes have?!!?!? It was quite a bright sunny day. May have been a mirage or a hallucination,spicy curry for lunch perhaps?????

I hope it is just embargoed, I would love to get it in March but the dealer warned me I may have to wait till April

- I ordered it in November.
Yeah I will be there on the 6th....I cannot wait to see one 'in the flesh' .....I just hope that I like it!

Seen 3 Mini Clubmans on the back of a transporter right outside work... wahey... spoke to the guy who said he was of to Kingsway to deliver a MCSCR Clubman.. He is going to give me a call next time he is down at Port Melbourne and I can get some pickies.

Got some photo's will hopefuly load them tommorow as had to borrow my mates Phone....

Great spot....you would have thought they would have washed it.

I have been told mine has been built and is in Southampton waiting for a boat, should get it mid April. I have sold GBMINI (subject to the new owners coughing up the folding) today so I will be MINI-less until I get my Clubman, so the sooner the better.

I spotted one out in commercial livery yesterday. I have had it confirmed thought that it was actually a MINI car on one of their marketing drives!

Not long to the Big Party now! I am pretty excited.

Apparently the 6th is the press launch, only 300 invites or something, anyhow, should be a great do! Will get photos up ASAP!

on another note, saw the Veyron yesterday! WOW! it is most definately understated, good job it was there though, as that and the FIAT 500 were the only highlights of the motorshow. Rest assured I won't be paying nearly $30K for a FIAT though!
