Thumbs up Wheel Alignment

After trying to avoid Sydney's potholes for the last few months, but not always managing it due to the quantity! I decided that the wheels needed re-aligning on my Cooper S, the problem being where to go that a) knew what they were doing and b) cared about my car.
Having spoken to a friend at work who had his BMW done recently I was conviced to try the same place, even though it was not local to where I live.
I spoke to the owner (Paul Elliott) at TyreSmart Auto, located at 12, Emily St. Mortlake, NSW 2137
on (02) 9739 6481 and he was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. I booked in a week later and had the MINI connected up to his equipment, this consists of 4 sensors one mounted on each wheel rim, and they interact wirelessly to the computer main base station.
At all times Paul was careful not to mark the rims and pre-checked the tyres and rims for any damage. All four wheels were re-aligned to each other, with the worst wheel being the RHS Rear. The total cost for the four wheel alignment was a very reasonable $55, and I got a printout of the before and after settings to keep as a record.
So if you need your MINI doing, or need tyres give Paul a ring, he gave me a very good quote on some Dunlop Runflats that I will need in a few months.

I can recommend his work and he obviously cares about the customer.

Hope this help someone looking for a great service.

If my experiences are anything to go by it's futile trying to keep MINI's in any sort of alignment! Still probably worth doing occasionally.

Does this mean that the BMW recommended book time of one and a half hours at $135 per hour is a little .. .... exorbitant?
