Just wondering how much Rego you got with your New MINI when you bought it, did you get 6 months or 12 months?

6 months? I wish. Unless you are a health card holder/pensioner in Victoria - you have no choice - one has to renew their registration for 12 months at a time.

Nah..dealers up here (NSW) can choose between 3, 6 o 12 months rego. Not sure if the same applies to dealers in other states.

Does that apply to everyone or just dealers? Not that I'd want to have to renew my rego any more often than 12 months anyway?

Only dealers can do that so they can play around with the car's price. Sometimes a few hundred dollars difference in the final price can make or sink a deal, apparently...
