Offline | Not a lot of box's to tick! Take a Chilli pack S add JCW pack consisting of: * Performance engine * 17 in cross spoke Challenge S light alloys * JCW exhaust * 260 kph speedo * JCW badges * Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) * Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) * Fascia Piano Black * Anthracite Headliner * Sun protection glazing (no-one at the dealers knows wot this is!) The only other factory options appear to be your bonnet stripe colour. Quote "The tecnical specifications of the John Cooper Works power train are the same as a MINI Challenge race vehicle" ![]() All up on the road $55,399.00 (that includes stamp duty of $1755 and GST of ~$5500) Rgds JD |

Offline | Congrats Jodunca. You gotta be looking forward to August coming around. ![]() So I guess if you want the JCW Brakes and Suspension you have to tick some of those boxes Liam was talking about. Are these options even available yet? Sometimes I tell myself I should have waited and got the full JCW R56 ... but I know I wouldn't be able to resist the JCW seats; suspension; Brakes and probably a few other options so I know the $55k would suddenly have become more like $65k. Offline | The factory JCW has the bigger brakes and the Chilli's sports suspension. I will probably add the aero kit as a dealer fit later (no stamp duty!) and see how the suspension and brakes hold up. There are some nice after market gear for both available from the US at good prices with the Ozzy the way it is (.95 today!) Rgds JD P.S. My wife's Sidewalk was $61K, so this is great value. |

Offline | Saw a nice JCW at BMW Melbourne. Tasty with big brakes, mean wheels and of course the aero kit . Although the front and back look kind of nasty to me really. I wonder if I can convince Outmotoring to actually post their JCW side skirts. I'm sure some price point between their US$799 and BMW Melbourne's AU$2,600 could be reached... |

Offline | I emailed Outmotoring for exactly the same thing as I was ready to pay more for the postage. See Aaron Cornaby's reply... Hi, we are okay with shipping them but they are too large to go via USPS due to the box size and to ship them via UPS which is the other method we have they use what is called dimensional weight to calculate shipping charges and a rough estimate totaled nearly $650 just for shipping!!! If you know of a freight forwarder in the USA, we can ship to them if you can get better rates from them... tats almost the cost of the part, too much! ![]() Hence, I am now looking for a freight forwarder... Anyone know a good contact? ![]() sandown ♠♠ phillip island ♠ clubMINI drive ♠♠♠♠♠♠ |
