Would love to hear the specs of the car, ie. what the accessories the car comes with before you start ticking options boxes.

Not a lot of box's to tick!

Take a Chilli pack S

add JCW pack consisting of:

* Performance engine
* 17 in cross spoke Challenge S light alloys
* JCW exhaust
* 260 kph speedo
* JCW badges
* Dynamic Traction Control (DTC)
* Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
* Fascia Piano Black
* Anthracite Headliner
* Sun protection glazing (no-one at the dealers knows wot this is!)

The only other factory options appear to be your bonnet stripe colour.

All up on the road $55,399.00
(that includes stamp duty of $1755 and GST of ~$5500)

Congrats Jodunca. You gotta be looking forward to August coming around.

So I guess if you want the JCW Brakes and Suspension you have to tick some of those boxes Liam was talking about. Are these options even available yet?

Sometimes I tell myself I should have waited and got the full JCW R56 ... but I know I wouldn't be able to resist the JCW seats; suspension; Brakes and probably a few other options so I know the $55k would suddenly have become more like $65k.

The factory JCW has the bigger brakes and the Chilli's sports suspension. I will probably add the aero kit as a dealer fit later (no stamp duty!) and see how the suspension and brakes hold up. There are some nice after market gear for both available from the US at good prices with the Ozzy the way it is (.95 today!)

P.S. My wife's Sidewalk was $61K, so this is great value.

I believe this basically means that the windows are tinted slightly...

That actually seems pretty reasonable - in the context of Mini pricing at least

Yellow Cooper JCW Gen 3

I've read that BMW plan to release an upgrades version of the Gen 2 JCW kit. I'm planing on ordering an new 'S' with the kit but if there's a new kit coming I'll wait.
Has anyone heard the same? Cheers,
