I am very intrigued. What exactly will he do, will he customize my current ECU to suit my mods? I have been contemplating a piggy back system but this will probably be better if that is the case. Depending on costs I could possibly be in.

Excellent, So can I add you to my list? Finally a second person in Brisbane!! He will modify you ECU which is so much better than a piggy back. Plus he knows what he is doing which is a big plus.

Hey scolburn79. We have secured a dyno in Brisbane correct? Where is this dyno?

A bunch of guys in the USA got tuned by Jan, all were pleased. A mini with the same mods as me gained around 8 hp and is now at 113.3 whp.

Yes, it is at GT Auto Garage at Newmarket so not far if you live on the northside. They charge $200 for the first hour and then $180 per hour after that. It takes Jan about 1-1.5 hours to tune but he said most of them he is getting done in 1 hour.

21Blue is a Brisbane local

From what I have read on NAM, the best place to start with MCS (up to 06) modding is a pulley, CAI and exhaust. The CAI and exhaust are rather simple mods. I managed to do those on one saturday. The pulley on the other hand requires you jack out your engine, I have instructions for it but unless you know what you are doing it can be a bit risky.

Actually its CAI, Pully and exhaust manifold. The Exhaust itself does maybe 5hp and isnt very bang for buck friendly, more popular place to start for the noise thing

. Charles ill call you today anyways, and if your free ill take you for a spin when i pick up my car FINALLY today so you can see if you can put up with the slight whistle of the Alta CAI at highway speed.
