Offline | I believe auto start is not legal. However, I've got it too. ;p But even if you're not bother with it. There's a problem with cars that has transponder key. If you want to remotely start the car, you will have to hide a spare key around or inside the key barrel. Otherwise it won't work. What happen is your car immobiliser has a antena/receiver on ur ignition barrel, when u insert ur key in the barrel, it will read the code off you key, and when it's verified, it will signalled the engine computer that it's ok to start. So without a key or a chip(which is inside a key) in there, it's not gonna happen. If you still want to go ahead, just make sure u can take the risk that it makes it easier for somebody to steal your car. |
