Tell you what, I'm not having a lot of luck here. The guy in perth just stopped talking to me which must be the peculiar way his business says, "sorry mate, we don't fancy that work."

ozicozi are too busy to do it, lease they told me - fair cop. I still hold out hope for minimonster.co.uk, guy sounded enthusiastic to start with.

Do I have any other options? It's not like I'm looking for crazy custom decal stuff like. It's actually just black stuff.

Anyone know of a vic bmw dealer that's actually remotely helpful with regards to getting parts like the side skirts etc?

Well custom vinyl work I don't really want to get from overseas if I can get someone locally. I found a couple of local guys in Melbourne, who can vitally do the fitting too, so I'll give that a shot.

I went into dealer today and bizarrely their original quote for JCW aero skirts has gone up from $540 each to $1300 total ex GST. They did a full quote with the bodyshop paining and fitting them and it wa s$2300. That's right, for a couple of skirts. Yeah...

Still, they nicely fitted my custom plates to my mini. Mini seems to have non standard center-of-plate fitting, and previous guys had realy done a job on it so I need some help switching them over and getting a new cover. I think they were happy to do it all (too them some time) for free because I'm now driving around in BMW Melbourne plate holders rather than Doncaster, lol.

So, I think I'm tapping the skirts thing on the head. Not unless I can find a significantly cheaper way to get it done. Christ, yank shops sell them for $799 (but wont post).

Custom vinyl next then.

You could have a look at Decently Exposed, they are in South Yarra and did all the promo graphics for MINI/BMW during the Clubman launch.

Good luck

Hah, yes. They seem to have done work for local mini dealers. Also chap got back today and said sure, send through some materials.

They'll be more money than others most likely but they look like they know what they're doing.

Since my JCW skirts are off the books, may as well splash out on this...
