You can also get the Toyo Teo Plus in a 205/45R17. I'm running 16" ones on my Z3, and also the narrower 195/60R15 Toyo Teo on my Mini.

Long life (still got 50-60% tread left after 35,000km) and yet pretty good grip (more than the standard Dunlop 205/45R17 tyres fitted to 17" Mini rims - and that was measured with an accellerometer )
