DIY 15% Reduction Pulley for 06' MCS

Hi Folks,

I was reading this review of the Webb Motorsports 15% Pulley and was pretty impressed.

Does anyone know where in Melbourne or Australia one could source a Webb Pulley?

Does anyone have an alternate recommendation / experience?

Thanks.

Is there a reason you're getting rid of it?

The preferred pulley brands seem to be minimania/ultik, alta gen 1 and recently theres been some good tales of KMT (slovienian engineering firm) who replacate the style of the alta gen1 but for fraction of the cost. I think KMT are on ebay as a seller, Fisher is tied to it and he's a genuine and nice chap who owns a MINI himself

Bmtech do sell the V2 Alta pulley.
The last price I got was $620.00 supplied and fitted.
Still trying to work out if that is a good price based on the pulley costing just over $100.00 USD and some people say 1 hours work.

Anyone want to comment?

I'd love to find out if someone in Perth can fit these. I've always found it confusing as to what exactly we need to buy, as it can't simply be just the pulley by itself right?

One hour!

Maybe one hour to fit if its not your first time and you have all the gear, but then you have to put the car back together, haha!

Took us amateur first timers about 6 hours.

And hopefully your pulley puller doesn't bend and break and then you have to get the angle grinder onto it to get it off!!
