MINI United 2009 - Anyone going - MINI2

I'll be in the UK in May.

Taking my Mum over to visit family and catch up with some of her old friends.

So I thought I might as well take a look at MINI United while I'm over there.

I have my ticket already, and hopefully booked a tour of the factory (yet to be confirmed).
I just need to organise some accomodation near Silverstone, as I'll be based in Manchester, and driving to Silverstone from Manchester daily is a bit of a stretch.

I was just wondering if anyone else will be going, or will I possible be the only one from Australia.

Still hoping to get there. Depends on how many trips I can fit in this year. Will PM if I can fit it in.

Was there in 2005 in Misano. Had a ball. Unfortunately misssed 2007.

Would recommend it to any MINI fan.

Would love to be going, came close to booking my UK hol for then, but July fitted better so will miss it! Hope you have fun, should be amazing....make sure you take loads of pics for us!

Got my tickets, still trying to hire a Mini for the weekend. Only one I found so far wanted 300 quid for two days!
