Nearly a MINI owner... AGAIN!

Well after lookin' on the internet for the past few months daily with what's out there in the world of MINI's, I finally decided to take the plunge....

In the end I bought another Cooper but this time a convertible! What I wanted back when I bought my MINI but couldn't get the funds!

The spec:
2004 MY05 Compliance MINI COOPER CABRIO
Black Eye Purple... mmmm now there's a colour you don't see too often!
Black Roof
3 Spoke Multifunction Steering Wheel
Chrome Line Interior
Chrome Line Exterior
Chrono Pack
Black cloth seats with Octagon print I think... will have to have a look on here!
16" 5 Star Alloys like my old Cooper!

I think its a pretty high spec Cooper for what I paid, as most that I had been looking at on the internet had smaller alloys and didn't have all the bells and whistles!

Hopefully I will be picking it up next week sometime! Can't wait! Will post some pics when I finally get it home!

WOW congrats! BEP is an absolutely gorgeous colour! I hope its got black bonnet stripes with white pin stripe edges now that looks amazing!

I've got some pics of it at the dealers... but have to put my personalised plates on it which are the same colour as the car so it will look even better!

Also too do any of the Aussie owners know how much it is to buy the Chrome Boot Hinges for the tailgate? And how much is a wind deflector... preferably not using ebay!

Whats your take on the bonnet stripes? I think they would suit it but I see you were a non bonnet stripe girl on your previous coop. Some people prefer no stripes.

I'm not sure yet? Hey... At one stage with my Black and White Cooper I thought of gettin' stripes...but I'm not sure... sometimes I just like the plain look... for a while here everyone was gettin' "go faster" stripes on all sorts of cars.... now there's just too many cars driving about with go faster stripes that aren't even MINI's! I shall have to decide...

Though, I must point out that there seems to be a good size gap between the bonnet and bumper on one side. Probably the bumper is not hooked on correctly.

Nah, that's fine Nix. All that has happened there is they haven't shut the bonnet right. As it has 2 catches, one on either side, if you don't sort of "Slam" it it won't catch properly. I normally put my index finger and middle finger on the mini badge and push hard from about a quarter open.

The wind deflector is a bit expensive but it is an original MINI part, so at least it wont break off on you haha (we hope). I ordered some goodies from this company a few weeks ago. The stuff has not arrived yet because they are waiting for something to arrive. Can't say what though... secret.
