Question Selling Advice

Hi guys,

I'm about to put my mini on market and would be interested to hear peoples' comments around if and when to advertise that the car has been modified.

The car has some Alta performance parts fitted and a remap. Obviously this makes it a much improved drive but not sure if it's something I should advertise, or if it will drive away a lot of potential buyers. Also, is there any law that says I must tell people that the car has the modifications?

Thanks

Be honest....I was when I was selling blacky - he had heaps of mods. Ok, it may limit the amount of buyers, but at least you will feel better about it.

You're right, I will feel better if I'm fully open with the buyer. In the end I'll probably just trade it in for the new car, but I thought I'd give someone the chance to buy it privately at a good price first.

Australia Further to selling MINI

Hi guys, as my personal circumstances have changed, and I've since returned to Victoria, I'm thinking seriously of putting MINI on the market. Where is the best place to sell this great car?

What do you think its worth? Fully serviced, new runflats, new rego, polished and ready to go...

Please read the link below of a report I wrote around 18 months back.

Mike.

I would suggest around $25K upto $30....It is a good looking 2004 but without knowing the mileage etc I wouldn't be more specific...It'll be worth more here than in QLD and there is s a stong MINI market at the moment, but unless you find an ethusiast, the H&K or the JCW won't add that much...

Thanks.

It's got 81K on it and thinking now, I might just keep it covered in the garage, like my other classics and one day.....
