 New Owner - Questions
Hi Everyone,
As of tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a 2006 Mini Cooper S Checkmate.
Actually it is my wifes new car, and she is dead set excited.
Colour is hyper blue, with white roof and full leather (Blue and Black).
I have done a bit of research on here, which has greatly assisted with the purchase process.
We were originally going for a Cooper with CVT, but after reading bought a "S" so we could get the full auto box, as it seems more reliable.
The car is great. We were curious as to why it would have a white roof being a checkmate model, as normally they have a silver roof, but Mini confirmed it was the real deal.
Only has 15,000 kms on it, so pretty happy with that.
My wife wants to put bonnet stripes on, but she wants the checkmate stripe. Does anyone know if the checkmate stripe comes in white (to match the roof)?
Is there any aftermarket websites for Mini accessories?
Any help would be appreciated, and I look forward to being part of the Mini2 community.
