Delivery time for Australia

Wondering how long it took people's minis to be delivered?

Also what might help is where in Australia you are from.

I was quoted up to 4 months and it took 3.5 from when I placed the order. That's to Melbourne from Nov 2007 order. Some variation depending on when the boats come, I guess.
FWIW I also have a Skoda and was quoted the same lead-time (but I bought one that was already here).
I think it's just how long it takes to build a car to order, then ship and deliver it. It seems like a long wait but it's worth it!

in took 6 weeks to get mine (but i think it was half way here on the boat) thats melbourne back in 2005 , friends took 10 weeks for custom order in 2008

I live in uk and I ordered mine 6 weeks ago and it still hasnt been built. I was told around the 18th june. That would be 8 weeks and then of course you would have a 6 week sail to reach port

It all depends on the build slots your dealer has....
