Looking at the JCW web site the kit they talk about is for a Cooper, not a Cooper S.
I have heard you can order the kit direct from JCW ( I cant find it) which may affect your warranty or you can wait and order it from BMW/MINI (eventually) and the warranty should still be ok.

MINI has informed me that late Jan 03 is when the kit should be available.

Price???????? Around $5000 is the rumour!

hah i dont think a single person in mini australia has a clue

i've been told october02, january 03, may 03, price from 3000 to 10,000

im hopeful it'll b sometime in january but im pretty sure it'll b sumwhere near the 10k mark not 5

a person from JCW said on this forum a while back that it would be GBP3000, which is closer to AUD$10k than AUD$5k

S4MATT: I cant make it Sunday either, i dont have my car it is still at the dealership and probably wont get it till next week

In regards to JCW kit i sent them and e-mail and got the following response

Just to clarify the only reason I mentioned AUD$5K was that a MINI dealer in Sydney hinted that the price would be around that figure- not even close if JCW are talking UK$3K.

As flipside said, nobody at MINI Aust has a clue.

Wait and see I suppose.

My dealer told me $5k also, i prompted him what was to be done to the car and he said he had not recieved any info yet.
From what i understand, it involves a whole new exhaust (4 port outlet), air intake, bigger super charger, bigger super charger pulley, upgraded computer chip, polished head , works badging and number plate. Who knows........
I could swallow $5k Australian but $3k pounds is toooo much
