Maybe somewhere out west? (we've been North and South) s4matt should know some places that have driving character.

Go somewhere there is a park for us with "baggage", and roads for those who want to motor!

Thanks for popping along, Alex

Pleasure was all mine.

Actually I liked mrs nhodge idea of laps around Wakefield Park (Goulburn), perhaps as part of another sojorn down south.

risking license points?? bah! risk = return, and the fun I had between Jamberoo and the Pie Shop was worth risking a lot for!! Driving up that mountain really made me realise why I spent so much on such a small car so... much... FUN!!!

heh, it was my pleasure Welcome to the world of the Cooper S

Once again a superb day and a great turnout. My apologies to those who waited at Homebush for me because I was late, and for the confusing route to the National Park, but I just did what 'suzy' told me to do!

It was great to meet those that I hadn't already, and having that many MINI's in a row sure does turn heads!!

*Click here for a selection of the images I took*

Thanks for a great day! I'm not commenting on the big potato (my image gallery reveals the truth behind the nature of the structure) though I will hold it with similair levels of contempt to the 'Ayers Rock' which unfortunately still exists in what was the "Leyland Brothers World" amusement park on the North Coast...

Cheers,
Tim

so where is Robertson again??

Minolta Dimage X $749 @ Camera House inc. Minolta leather case & 8MB SD card (I have a 32MB also - It needs it)

It's not bad for a compact... 1600x1200 pics (1.9 MP), variable focus (unlike the Casio Exilim) and clever internal optical zoom (vertically mounted using a prism)

Pretty basic feature set, but perfect for snaps & small enough to make sure you always have a camera handy - I actually bought it for my wife to take pics of my daughter whenever/wherever

Recommended, if that's the sort of camera you're after

Apparently a 3MP version (the Xi) is due soon but personally I doubt if the optics are good enough to make that extra resolution usable

Cooper S, Jet Black w/ white roof, silver 16" X-Lite wheels, DSC, MFSW, dark tinted windows

Yeah, and one of you had a navigation system and all! Anyway, lesson for the future, meet up with you guys as early as possible on the day, rather than toward the end

I'll upload my digital photos shortly, and my analog photos later in the day once developed.

Thanks to everyone for a great day, looking forward to the next meet.

cool day.. i wasnt quite prepared for all the driving on 2 hours sleep, havin no idea where robertson was.. but in the end it was all good.. thoroughly enjoyed the drive thru all them windy back roads.. although im pretty thankful i was behind mrs nhodge (i think was driving at the time) and err.. was it quantum mechanic? hehe aaanyways much happier driving along with a safety margin than goin break neck style with u other hoons but it was still a very enjoyable experience, and one i wont have any hesitation to signing up for next time

i got some pics as well.. will post when i get home this arvo'

PS DS/B owns DS/W

Heh, I thought you were looking a little dozy. Don't worry, you're not the only one who didn't know where Robertson was. Anyway, thanks to Rich for buying me lunch to make up for what will now be known as the "Macquarie Pass incident".

Tim's rather spiffy (god, i'm speaking like Rich ) Xenon headlight washers.

Wes with 2 hours sleep here.

Tim taking photos of his dashboard .

The dramatic scene seconds after someone yelled "SHE'S GONNA BLOW!".

For five brief minutes all attention was taken away from the giant spud.

I wonder how well a wrought iron candle would burn?

They say a picture tells a thousand words, but this one really only tells a couple.... "waiting" and "stinking hot"
