due to our hijacking of other threads and on Eltels gentle prodding, i've been a good boy and started this here

lookin at at a 10am meet at homebush on nov 10 (date not set in stone..we'll get an idea on numbers first) and a drive up 2 the Settlers Arms Hotel for lunch at St Albans

all is subject to change just thought we could all get our ideas sorted and a date we can all agree on 2 get as many minis in once place at one time as possible

and i hope Eltel doesnt hate me

i'd rather we got as many people as possible there first time out. so getting a date that suits us all would b best.. me im basically free any old weekend.. well i have alotta **** on.. but i can juggle quite well

Just a thought for 10-Nov meet. Pie-in-the-Sky. Its a cafe on the old Pacific Hwy, just south of Mooney-Mooney. Got parking, quiet, at the end of a good run and there's coffee too.

Map to (roughly) Pie-in-the-Sky

Its on the Pacific Highway, just south of Brooklyn - a small town on the Hawkesbury River - and a jump off point to Dangar Island.

Basically:

1. get onto the F4
2. get off on the Brooklyn exit (over the Mooney Mooney bridge)
3. head toward Brooklyn on the "old Pacific Highway" heading south back across the other Mooney Mooney bridge.
4. BYPASS the Brooklyn entry (on the left) and continue towards Sydney/Hornsby into the hills. The road is dual lane south, with lots of bends and hills. WATCH out for motorcyclists
5. Pie-in-the-Sky is on the left heading towards Sydney.
6. Its a Indoor/outdoor cafe frequented mainly by motorcyclists (not outlaw mobs, BTW)

We could then drive to Richmond etc. via Galston/Dural. Lots of great roads here. Although, I will take it easy on the new member of my family.

So, 10am Sunday 10th November?

Hey, I took my MINI up this road twice on the first weekend. It loved being let out of the stable. Hugged the hills and kissed the corners.
