When did mini update the dash layout to two gauges above the wheel with one large in the centre?

Any help appreciated.

Not sure why you're posting questions like this in a Regional forum but ...

The speedo and tach are above the steering wheel if the car is equipped with a Satellite Navigation System or Chrono Gauge Pack.

This is because our gauges are different spec'd to yours in regards to that. But you are correct in this instance.

So it's just a case of someone ordered the chrono pack on a mini? I'm looking at an 06 mini cooper with what I now know as a chrono pack.

Interestingly, the BMW dealer was not able to tell me about this.

Thanks for your help guys.

Chrono pack is an optional extra and was available from 2004 models on wards I do believe when they had the facelift...MY 2003 COOPER didn't have it but now my 2005 COOPER CABRIO does... I really wanted one that had it...

Chrono pack means the two dials above the steering wheel which is your speed and rev count...and if your lucky enough you can get them with chrome surrounds... which is a Chrome Line Interior...also an optional extra.

Here's a pic of mine of when I hit 44,444k's
