Jervis Bay is a fantastic Place, as Goul has mentioned - about 3 hours drive south of Sydney. Worth the trip.

Also, at work yesterday we hired three 40foot yachts from a place called Aus Sail at The Spit (near Mosman - 15 min drive from CBD) and sailed around on the harbour all afternoon. You MUST do this - it was fantastic.
