Offline | I know I am a reasonably fast driver, but I'm not THAT fast!!! No, I reset my trip computer at Rye, and the 94km/h average was between Rye and Apollo Bay when I was overtaking everything in sight (mostly on the outside lane on corners ). Actually it was a pretty clear run most of the way, and I was driving like a mad man. Would have been better if you guys were behind me!!!Boo and Mel, it's a shame you guys were not there. WOuld have been fun with that BRG. Also aren't we missing another Black/w and also EB/W car? Hope to see a full house next time!!! |

Offline | Way, if someone exaggerates about sometime like that, silence is the better part of valour ... reality is perception "Listen young ones and I will tell you the tale of WAY the LEGEND, who averaged 94km/h for the entire length of the Great Ocean Road" ![]() |

Offline | My apologies, I misheard WAY. But even so, the road from Wye river to Apollo Bay is no picnic, and gives you some idea of the pace that WAY set. I'd still say that the average for the Geelong-Apollo Bay trip would be around 80? Regards, ElTel |

Offline | We missed you, Spazz. ![]() ![]() ![]() Still, as I looked at the fleet of EB cars ahead of me, I imagined that one of them was you. That helped a bit. ![]() This work thing - it gets in the way sometimes, doesn't it? Then again, you're going to need lots of overtime to pay for the JCW kit. ![]() Regards, ElTel |

Offline | Hahahaha. "Yes ElTel, I averaged 94kmh on the entire length of the GOR. In fact you should have seen me on the way home. Took some of those corners at 180kmh!!! Had M.Schumacher behind me and he was struggling to keep up in his bright red 360 Modena!" Is that better Warped? ![]() |

Offline | Way ... subtlety is not a concept you are familiar with is it? ![]() Have to admit I'm jealous of the lot of you, firstly only just ordered my MCS and secondly the GOR is a long way away from Sydney ![]() |

Offline | It has finally arrived. Sorry to have missed the run on Sunday. Not sure that I would have been keeping up with the 'S's. I picked up my CR Cooper up today. Been driving ever since. Hope to catch the next Vic run. Chris |
