Best non Run-flat tyres for R56 JCW Cooper

I have a 2011 JCW Cooper that i'm considering replacing the run-flats on (Melbourne's roads are killing my back in this thing; I'm kinda glad I didn't get the GP!).

There's some talk in the generic forum about tyres, but that's mainly UK and US, and of course, tyres vary place to place.

Can anyone recommend a good mix of comfort, performance, price and longevity? The current ones have only lasted 25k.

Also, any recommendations in Melbourne to have them done (other than standard chain places)?

Amazing. 377 Views and not one response.

Anyway, for anyone interested I went with some Pirelli P-Zero Nero GT's. The difference to the run-flats is absolutely mind blowing. I always assumed the JCW just had hard suspension (and it's definitely harder than the S), but with the new tyres, my back has stopped aching.

Highly recommend the P-Zero Nero GT's.
