Being so light a material there have been lots of instances where these wheels crack, especially if used on the highway where theres potholes, and thats the problem with lightweight wheels and one reason why they fit heavy ones for road use.
Hairline cracks will often start below the surface and work outwards too, so they might not be visible but are there, similar to the original Minilite Mag Alloys, they fatigued and cracked because they were light and then they are scrap, you cant repair them.
