Coopz is down from the gold coast so we are going to get together on Sunday the 26th of Jan for a bit of a burn etc... any of you sydney guys want to go for a run come on along....
Will probably go up the old pacific highway for a burn

Boo - I'm working and can't make it. BUGGER!!!!

O/T I went for a run to Nowra last week and there are now 6 fixed speed camera locations between Wollongong and Berry (I think I counted them all, or at least I hope).

How nice is the road down there

Goes all the way to Lakes Entrance (I think it is called), about 7 hours of curves and then the next leg is from there up the Great Alpine Road for another 3

...

For those of you who may be able to make it.
Coopz and I are meeting at the parking area at the bridge end of Blue St North Sydney at 9am. We will probably head up the old pacific highway initially but will discuss when we meet..

Coopz and i had an awesome drive today....
Started at North Sydney, drove to Crystal car wash and bought the cars a shower...
Then the corners started...up McCarrs Creek Rd from Church Point then down to Akuna Bay..
From there we headed up the old Pacific Hwy to gosford and out Peats Ridge Rd to Wisemans Ferry...
3 hours of great corners were just what the doctor ordered..

From there we did it rally style along 21 km of dirt rd out to St Auburns pub for lunch...
mmmm, lamb backstraps...can't talk, eating!!!

Then a sedate drive back via the freeway and straight into the Crystal car wash again...
After 21 km of rallying, our gleaming machines were caked in dust

much to the surprise of the boys at the car wash who lovingly washed our cars in the morning

One coffee later we ended the day fully satisfied that there aint no car like the Mini.....

Thanks for sharing the day Coopz and lovely co-pilot Dreita (probably got the spelling wrong, sorry)...
Also my co-pilot for the day Moshe.. who was aptly impressed by the MCS after the first set of good corners

Back home safely if not in one piece. Thanks again for the run Boo, it was a great weekend and that pub with it's old world charm and food that would make a sydney cafe blush and run off to do a bit of a cookery class, has to be visited to be believed.

To those Mini owners who honked, waved and flashed at us thanks too, I hope to catch up. and if you were in the EB S coming south from Tarree on Monday drop us a line.

Thanks again for the bends and once Drita has overcoem her motion sickness I'm sure she'll thank you as well
