Yes indeed a 325Ti is very nice and has a sweet note, nice leather, great looking wheels and top sunroof but at $70,000+ it's a very expensive hairdressers car that is still sluggish and handles quite ordinarily, but then again so does a Porsche Boxster compared to a MINI. I'll take my MCS at $43,500 drive away and run rings around the beamer anytime. Maybe I'll talk them into a 330ci next time or even an M5. I'd be calling in sick for the day and thrashing the absolute crap out of that thing! Even more so than the 325Ti they gave me

Drive it like you stole it, especially if it's a loaner

Be careful what you say, mate. You never know who is lurking in here. We must all remember that this is a **PUBLIC** forum.

You might find yourself busted back to a 316 compact

Well, I know I intend to book a restraunt for lunch at Montville. I'm sure the group can determine a fun way there. Being food motivated I'd like to get some scones and a cuppa on Mt Glorious for afternoon tea. I'm sure we could work that in?

I reckon that we go from Toombul out to Albany Creek via Rode Rd the OLD Northern Rd the head out through Etons Hill toward Samford then onto Closeburn & Dayboro, Mt Mee and Woodford then head for Montville, Maleny via the back road that Steve mentioned on Sunday, Lunch in Montville or Maleny, the Maleny Pub is OK, but nowhere near the shops at Montville if some people want to buy fudge and hippie candles etc. After lunch we head back down to Woodford and out to Kilcoy then past Somerset Dam back up through the back of Mt Glorious, stop for Steve's scones and down to somewhere in Brisbane for a de-briefing and to wrap things up?
What do you guys think?

Cheers

Jason

I have a problem and I know I do, I spend all day logged onto MINI2 I still manage to get bags of work done, but I'm sure I could get more done in if I didn't spend all day making and responding to posts about MINI's. I just can't help myself, I LOVE MINI's and embrace all of you who share my passion.
Do I need help? NO way ignorance is BLISS

And yes she is old enough to drive.

See! It all comes back to the Mini dating service. Swamos I know you hung up your matchmaking wings but please come out of retirement!

I don’t know Coopz. The young girl you were with on Sunday night was quite a sort (unless she was your sister than forgive me because we shouldn’t talk about each other’s sisters).

I wouldn’t think you’d need the “Swamos MINI dating service”.

I think I’ll stick to my own MINI and wife and skip the Swamos MINI dating service - for now.

haha umm well yes I don't seem to have a problem meeting nice young girls I was kind of thinking of an older woman. As I approach 30 I don't seem to able to keep up with the young women too well.

Geeze Coopz knock it off! I unfortunately don't know any "older" single women that I could invite on our runs, but I'll ask my mum for you.

And yes Aussiemini I'm with you on the Swamos MINI dating service - mines just fine at the moment, actually to good for me so I wont be doing anything to void my warranty with her. But you do meet some cute girls in your MINI hey!

Hmm I thought this is why we got the cooper S, so we can handle those dangers curves with ease. You know a MINI adventure, navigating over hills and down into gullies, finding all the nice spots that push you to your limits. Then you can go about finding some new spots that you have never been to before. Pure pleasure.

I must admit at the moment I do need some help finding a good map to read and then go exploring with.

Now back to this MINI dating service.

Gentlemen,

Swamos is quite right in his sentiments.

Although I'm fairly easy going in this area of the froum, could we raise the tone a couple of notches in here please.

Thanks.

Never before has one word and 5 sylables so redifined my camera usage.

In-spi-ra-tion-al.

Tomorrow during the day I will attemp a rig on the dash of the car with a 360 orbital rotation mount so I can video myself driving or the road and car in front. I was also thinking the parcel shelf on the back would work well for rearwards shots. a few friends have rigs that hang off thier car doors when the windows are open and you can mount the camera about 10CM off the deck, makes for some mind blowing footage. Still I know nothing about doing it so wish me some luck.
