| MINI2 Senior | Swamos is a genius. Took him a matter of minutes to make that little baby, but was thwarted by the direction he had to turn the bolt to attach the camera! ![]() ![]() It was late... I know, who can blame him? I look forward to seeing some daytime shots! Cheers, Jug |

Offline | Being just one big moving violation myself already I couldn't help but notice you mounted it on the drivers side in the field of view. Thats a No no. I know it's a defect notice but I don't know if it contributed to an accident ie, you lost sight of a old school mini behind the camera and ran over it, if it would affect your insurance. Also fluffy dice or air fresheners hung from the rear view mirror, DEFECT. seems like anything fun is bad. So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | good question, I would say it's an "approved" modification by the RTA. I can't wait to see how our shots turn out. I have been practicing with the camera mount and different settings. I am so motion sick from watching the 3/4 persective videos (from over the passenger seat)it's not funny. I look like a drift racer as it gives the illusion of the car on a constant slide sideways. I tried to us the personal gallery but I can't get anywhere. I use the create feature then it just takes me back to create again and again I can never get to the manage screen to add the pics or vids. I will distribute the old fashion way.... Floppy disc. I can say floppy disc can't I Basil? I'm not going to get in hot water? hehe So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

| MINI2 Senior | And for those that were wondering, those handcuffs are to restrict my hands, to stop me waving a people who are gawking at us as we drove by in a convoy of 12 minis! Jug p.s. I'd also like to extend my thanks and appreciation for those that gave me a lift throughout the day - Neil and Jase. Twas a good day all up. |

| MINI Traitor | Thanks for coming I'd just like to thank everyone for coming, and hope they had a good time. Thanks to Ausmini for helping round everyone up, and for being the #1 stalker that he is. We finally got home after a cold rock at 10pm last night. This morning I am very tired!! Here is the first wave of media that will have been captured on the day. Thanks Ausmini, yeah baby!!! We're having fun!!! |

| MINI2 Senior | Good Morning Mini Pilots, I had a fantastic time yesterday on Boo's run and I hope you all did too! The Day turned out to be 14 hours of twists and turns, good people and good icecream at 10 o’clock that night. It was great to see more newcomers including Ross, Tom, Wilma, Simon, Jason (although Jason's an old hand now), Neil and most of all Boo and his lovely wife. It was terrific of the Boos to make the trip from Sydney What was just as great was seeing a few of our senior Mini Pilots like Tom and Ross pushing the younger ones along some of those twists and turns. I hope Wilma's knuckles are not too sore this morning from hanging on Tom? But most of all it was great to see so many good quality people who have so much more in common than just their passion for the BMW Mini. But a special thanks to Mr and Mrs Swamos. For without them, yesterday would not of happened. Below are a few pics of the day of which I am sure there are heaps of much better ones and plenty of videos to come. |

| MINI Traitor | Thanks, but actually that was cjay using Ausmini's camera in his car. Cjay picks up his Cooper next week ![]() And yes, some of the looks from people and passing traffic were priceless. At the risk of degenerating to dating again, i believe some of our single MINIers nearly stoped to offer people rides ![]() |
