| MINI2 Senior | Guy at the intersection But the funny thing was with the poor bugger, I think he was poised to turn right and got into some internal debate whether to follow us or not. Cjay and I were the last Pilots to pass him and we could feel him thinking. Then all of a suddent, his left indicator activated and then there were 13. He seemed like a nice guy, and I'm with you Jug, I hope he comes along next time. PS Just debadged the tailgate of my MINI to replace that dodgy black stripe with a nice one. Wasn't too hard. The worst thing was getting that factory double-sided tape crap off. |

Offline | I'd just like to say thanks for a top, albeit a long day of MINI motoring, sorry I couldn't hang on for the sushi and Cold Rock. The video footage posted is excellent, it'll be great to see some more once it gets up, and I hope Chris can get some of his images from the day online soon. On another note I couldn't be more impressed with the great bunch of people that I've met through this site and my new MINI, I look forward to some great friends and great times in the future OK so when are we going again?, Cheers Guys and once again thanks Jason ![]() 02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW. Offline | Hi guys My EB MINI & I had a ball on saturday. I can't believe you guys went to 10.00pm that night. We may as well drive as a group to sydney and back. I am sure we are all crazy enough to do it. Unfortunately i do not have the capability to view the video footage. Is there any chance one of you guys can save it all on disc. It would be very much appreciated by myself and all the CBA staff. Every one in the office here wants to come on the next drive. If you can save it to disc can you call me (0414 789 265) and I will come and pick it up, perhaps over coffee. My shout. Ciao Dimitri |

Offline | Oh Danny.. I have shamed us. I did as instructed, cleaned her nicely, got my rear badge off washed, polished, waxed, removed the intake scoop, then... my mate let me down with the stanley knife, spray bottle and squeegee Well in a fit of anger I drove to super cheap and picked up a layer of road dust, got home rewashed her and started, oh the glory oh the joy of a job well done... until! as a dead line approached I became more frantic add to this my already frustrated state of mind, well, I saw a bubble so as I franticly squeegeed it I pulled the vinyl... a nice big stretch on the bonent, well I hit the roof and chucked a fit, I had no time to fix it and couldn't leave it like that so I removed the other three good strips as well and left it bare, thankfully I will have enogh to do the front still but the back will wait till I fork out another $30 It looked great and I am so glad I am doing it. just not till next week now as the exhaust is being done now. So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | Quoted by minicruiser in a post regarding RICE in General Discussion Shameless Rice This is probably the biggest offender, this is the fitment of parts which scream for attention. Such highly embarrassing items such as very OTT body kits, obscenely oversize wheels, neon lights, LED’s, larish stickers and paint schemes, the list is endless. Shameless Rice can be functional, often isn’t, either way the effect of subtly and indeed class is lost on the creator. Probably the cheapest and most common is the fitment of ‘Shelby Stripes’ to otherwise standard cars. OH NO COOPZ IS A MINI RICE I told you so on Saturday mate, with the dark dark tint, clear lights and S2000 antenna. Add Danny's Cobra Stripes and baby you da man! Change your name from CooPz to VINDEISEL or FASTANDFURIOUS or even MACKDADDYCheers Mate Jase ![]() 02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW. Offline | Rice = Japanese Sorry but I will have to say that this whole rice boy thing refers to Hondas and nissans and other Japanese imports I hardly see how you can make a british car more japanese by adding american style stripes... Some people have lost the plot when it comes to insults. Not refering to you Jase just a few other misguided souls who actually were serious when they said it. Still the count is 3 people who have said it's rice and 32 people who said that 3 people need to get a dictionary for the record It's Pimp tint, OEM lights, and when those stripes go on, it will be anything but stock in the air dept. So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Offline | Well it just looked so nice on the way down. good thing I used it as you guys were never five minutes. Anyway it turns out that the pack was broken up to three groups, I got all three and was doing some editing to make a nice transition. somehow one 745 k and one 2.4 meg files ended up a smidge over 10meg after I had merged them. not sure what happened but I will try again to reduce size,if I can't get it smaller I'll burn copies for everyone on CD's because the 11 cars in a row looks magic with a bit of ghostly fading between. So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers" |

Have you managed to find that video camera with the whole see through night vison thing?? I thought you'd be on e-bay the minute you got home Cheers Mate Jase PS: Caps will be ready Wednesday so I'll try and do a scoot down later in the week with them, I'll see how I go. 02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW.
