Boo is Coming to Brisvegas

As has been talked about for a little while, Boo is coming to Bribane, so we better go for a Drive!!

I believe that we have quite a number of new people keen for this one, so we might do another northern run. We will meet at Toombul shopping centre, and then probably head on up to Montville (lunch), and then maybe the LONG way back to Brisbane. I guarentee it will be scenic, twisty, and fun.

When - Saturday the 8th of February, at 9AM
Where : Toombul Shopping centre car park, under the BIG T

Partners are encouraged, so post HOW MANY per car are coming, so that I can arrange somewhere for lunch. Make sure your body and car are fueled as we'll probably cover some ground.

While I'm reluctant to say anyone can organise a group of sexy cars like Mini's

Yep! count me in for one please guys. As I mentioned MRS jasemini has a girls night out on the Friday before this run so her presence is highly unlikely, twisty roads and hangovers don't mix. So I'll be in the Coopz club and flying solo.

Yep, all details have chaged, this thread supercedes the other one. Toombul is the big Westfield shopping centre. Just go over the gateway bridge (northbound), and then istead of going right under the motorway to the airport, go left till you hit the end of the road. You will see the shopping centre on the right on Sandgate Road.

We will still be going over Mt Mee

can I bring a wiffle bat to wail upon anyone foolish enough (ie green foresters) to get in front of us on Mt Mee, it turned a thrilling drive into a scenic putter, well except for you who got past them.

I have been working with CJAY (actually, he did all the work) to develop some new MINI countermeasures should this ever happen again.

Hidden from the camera in this shot is the Anti Recoil Stability Electronics (ARSE), which is triggered when the missiles are fired. When the light starts flashing on this baby it means that the driver is hanging on by his ARSE again

PS: Please note that the electronics will not enable the firing system should it be BASIL's forrester

PPS: I don't want to hear any comments from you lot about me with my flashing my ARSE

So Pluuuuuse call me before this arvo as I am leaving 4:00 in the morning tomorrow to make my way down to newcastle first then sydne next and would like to arrange where I am meeting you sunday so I can find it on a map

Finally here’s some photos of my LY/B Cooper now I have whacked the vinyl decals on it. If you buy these decals from BMW or Cooperflags.com you’re looking at around $800.

All I did was go to a sign writer who cuts and deals in vinyl, had him cut 20 liquid yellow squares and the triple stripes for the bonnet and back and all it cost me was $95 all up! Same 3M material as the BMW stripes and checkers.

It took around four hours to complete.
