Hi,

The BMW club Motorkhana is on the 16th, unfortunately the same day as the drive.

I am going to the motorkhana (but not necessarily driving my mini as it may be off the road that weekend). Pity I can't do both on the same day. Maybe the drive should include a detour to the Motorkhana for a squiz?

I'm glad to hear a couple more mini people have joined the BMW club. As far as I am aware that are 4 people on these boards from NSW who are now members.

The BMW days are pretty well run, and are one of the best organised club days around. The people are friendly and definitely not snobbish unlike many car clubs. The only criticism I can make is that sometimes you dont get a huge amount of tracktime due to the number of cars.

At the track days cars are generally sent out in groups of 5-7 of equal ability. It would be awesome if we could go to a day and have our own "group" of minis on the track at the same time, competing against each other and the clock! Even better if the group of minis could be one of the fastest groups on the day!

grrrrr I think I'll go on the mini2 drive and go on another BMW Club meet later - their calendar is certainly pretty full of events this year.

I agree Robbo, i was very impressed by the BMW Club, their organisation and calendar of events and mostly by the people who were more than happy to welcome me and show me the ropes..
When we all get on the track it is going to be great.. and i think that with more of us to share info on how the car handles in different corners, we will drop our times quickly..

Hi,

The BMW motorkana on the 16 th is being held at Nirimba TAFE Quakers hill.

I have never been to a motorhana before but it sounds like fun, especially if you are in a mini!
