I admit, i am overseas till the 10th of March so am thinking of a run after the that, lets pencil it in as Sunday 16th of March and see what that date shakes loose with everybody..
If another suits better then that would be cool...
Lets start here and see what interest there is!!

The run i did with Coopz (QLDer) was..
Start at North Sydney, down to Mona Vale then up McCarrs Creek Rd to Akuna Bay... then do a run up the Old Pacific Hwy to Gosford, out to Wisemans Ferry via the Peats Ridge Rd..
Have lunch there then head back...

Anyone up for it??

I want to hear more about your track day. I want to do it too.

I want to be a Boo understudy. If you're thinking of putting a race team together, can I apply?

And you might want to find someone who can drive a bit better than me to teach you, some of these guys haul *****

Here is the link for the BMW CLubs of Australia, they have Chapters (sounds very organised

) all round the country.. the guys i met in the Sydney club know how to get there Bimmers to haul *****

in a safe way

I have a simple fun navigation rally
Need a copilot however
Starts at Eastern Creek Finish Penrith with lunch
About 2 - 3 hours driving
I await your thoughts

Bathurst is three hours - I took delivery of my S and drove straight there

Cooper S's running around Mt Panorama would be amazing

Date looks good - the route I'm not fussed about

BEWARE!!! he didn't mention that approx 50Km of that was off road and included a water crossing... it took four days just to repair from all the hell you put me through and two weeks for the smiles to fade.

I am attending BMW CAR CLUB meeting tonight at 7.30 at BMW Sydney as I feel it would be more interesting than a Mini Car Club meeting ANY BODY ELSE INTERESTED???????????

Also the Grand Prix Rally to Melbourne I got an invite
Anyone else Going????
The East Coast Rally has been postponed till later in the Year and for the first time modern cars will be allowed
Anyone interested in destroying a set of tyres??????

Matt, have you got your M5 yet?

I am driving a 5 speed Cooper Loan car this week, it's actually a lot better than I expected - to 100km/h my bum dyno says it isn't much slower then the S! After 100 its different though... Good for traffic crawling - soft clutch and easy gearbox shift.

You are the only new mini member
Your day at Wakefield was discussed at length at the meeting
I think you impressed them
I am now a member also
There next club meeting is at Paraamatta Bmw in March
I would encourage us to all join the club
A great bunch of people who are keen to welcome mini owners
