And you forgot the baseball cap backwards and your seat has to be reclined right back and an exhaust that you could fit a pumpkin up and those little pin light neons in the washer jets, man I might even mount a neon in my intake scoop.
SWWEEEET! and my pants are already baggy, I might even find an old pair from when I was bigger than I am now and they'll be even baggier. Man we'd pick up for sure!!!

wwwooooorp - pitschhhhhh!- wwwooooorp - pitschhhhhh!- doof, doof, doof -wwwooooorp - pitschhhhhh!-

Cheers Lebjase

Sorry if this offends you Callun and sorry for talking about you so subjectively but it had to be said to cover oursleves against any action from your parents should something tragic heaven forbid, ever occur. We need to make it crystal clear that we have instructed you to drive responsibly and within your and your vehicles abilities and that our group is in no way competitive or condones the exceeding of posted speed limits.

Unfortunatly this is not enough to protect us, and anyone arranging any run of cars is liable if an accident occurs, it's for exactly this reason we need to have club protection for ANY event we do. I don't mean to sound like a party pooper but I know anyone arranging a new event in this forum is Legally responsible. Be careful and lets get our CLub sorted out

So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers"

I'm totally with ya. I guess I kinda stuck my foot in it there didn't I, but remember, an 18yr old is considered an adult and free to make their own decisions, but I digress.

If it was to come down to someone losing anything, or to losing everything, there would be absolutely no chance I would go if I and/or my car was a liability. For this reason I was hesitant to even suggest bringing my car along and it possibly couldn't have been at a worse time

At this stage, I would probably be more comfortable with staying home [i]at least[/i} until I get a new set of tyres. The next stage would be to make sure I, and everyone else who could be held responsible was indemnified if anything happens to me or them. Even as a passenger to someone, I am a pretty big risk.

No offence taken. For the moment, I'll continue puttering around at boring safe and responsible speeds, and finding some nice secluded windy roads nearer to Brisbane to occupy myself :P

I don't believe that that is entirely true. They would have to first prove that the organisers of the run were negligent, or in some way contributed to the outcome through their actions. Just being an orgniser does not automatically make you responsible for all the participants actions. People should keep this in mind. If you do something stupid, they'll come for you first.

However, the point is that if it was serious enough (like servere injury or worse), anyone involved could point the finger at the organisers. Even if they were not guilty, it could cost their house in legal fees just to defend themselves. If they were deemed to be 100% responsible, then that would be BAD news.

I reckon Steve's idea of MT MEE for lunch and then Wivenhoe is a goodie, although given the recent press regarding motorbikes and speeding through the area, the cops will be out in force, not that we ever exceed the posted speed limit. If we all went the gateway out to Pine Rivers and then went out to Mt Mee via Petrie and Dayboro we'd be OK. Or we could go to MT via Caboolture and up the reverse way we went last time???

Swamos is pretty keen on those scones, isn't he??

Which way do we all want to go?? I think Jason's path of out via the gateway would get around traffic problems.

If we want to go north for lunch, and in particular to Munchkins (which is supposedly pretty good), we would have to give them some notice. What does everybody reckon.

As you've guessed, my vote is for North, but then I've been on a cap run, and a MOC run south in the last two weeks...

It is confirmed, be at my place for a BBQ breaky at 8:30 on Sunday morning.

What I was thinking is going out and buying the things for breaky tommorrow after work and seeing what it totals.

I thought it shouldn't cost any more than about $2 a head or so but I'll keep a receipt. So why don't we see how much it costs then go from there. It won't be much.
