Swamos you are a MINI Tart. Weren't you the one who pulled us all up for INAPROPRIATE comments with regards to attracting new female MINI drivers to our group .
And here you are on the tune with the new MINI girl, and all this after you left your card on my window on the weekend...(sigh....)

You're the -MINI-Man about town.
(or you're a swinger, but you haven't dragged out the key bowl yet, so I'm still undecided, but it always the quiet ones )

URGENT NEWS, Casino washed away.
*****************************
no I'm joking, but near enough. With continued heavy rain falls expected for the rest of the week it looks as if the Run will be postponed for at least a few weeks. The Highway South of Lismore is closed

If anyone hears anything else please let me know. I am keen to have a Mini Run but not at the risk to my friends. I apologise that Mother nature doesn't want to come to the ball here but Iwill do this exact run again once we have clearer skies and clearer roads. Hey this could end up being the first run under out new club banner eh?

So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers"

Looks like a run somewhere else?

Bloody Casino and Lismore flood if you spit in the gutter. Not that I would but people from crap suburbs might.

Maybe to Toowoomba the back and stonechippy way?

Maybe to my place for a Sunday Morning BBQ at the Wellington Point beachfront then a run to Mt Tabourine for Coffee afterwards?

Dunno???

ooooo a BBQ.. sounds like a prime idea, do you have enough parking for us to do a show and shine? We always seem to wash before we get there but a mini wash day might be nice ( provided the RAIN STOPS!) also since it's a meeting at someones house I don't think we have to worry about liability... I am sure silvertop will pounce on me if I have it wrong! hehe

So that would mean that when we arrive at your place on Sunday morning we'll find you and Kelly sittin' outside spittin in the gutter?

Yeah I reckon a BBQ down your way with a short run to somewhere afterwards would be alright. Give Toowoomba the flick it's boring as all....Mt Tambourine?? Mt Glourious is a bit more interesting and easier to navigate, that Mt Tambourine and Eagle Heights area is as confusing as buggery. But Mt Glorious has less to choose from as far as Cafes go.

What about a early-ish BBQ Breakfast at Wellington Pt, say around 8:00am followed by a run to MT Glorious for lucnh at somewhere other than the rude cafe we stopped at last time, then a squirt down through Wivenhoe to Kilcoy and back to Brisbane. I know it's all been done before but it's hard to beat that Wivenhoe strecth.

Or there's always the Siromet Winery for the breakfast kick iff and then do Tamborine for Coffee they're both pretty busy on Sundays though.

Any other ideas.

Remember we are trying to avoid any sticky situations Jase, I think a nice simple BBQ and then coffee somewhere is going to leave Danny with his house intact and that is a big concern to anyone arranging one of these things

So I says to the cops, I says, "nah mate, that wasn't my tyres screeching, that was my passengers"

When I say a BBQ breakfast at Wellington Pt I mean at the park by the beach not Dany's place, I wouldn't wish that on anyone outside of Christmas Day. I thought it would be a different start to the day. BYO bacon & eggs and plastic plates, do an eat and MINI run.

Mt Tamborine is the sensible choice from the Southside I guess.

We could even go to Jason's place and do 1/4 mile runs up his road all morning with the traction control off. Don't you live in Woodridge Jase?

No mate Boondall actually, sort of like the MT Gravatt of the northside. Close to the lower socio ecconomic areas but far enough away so I don't have VB Commodores left in front yards, more than likely at least VT Commodores. And our area is actually called College Green North!!

On that note I am going or I'll be in trouble with MRS jasemini.

Well Luv2mini, That means there are five of us in the redlands that I know about.

I am from Wellington Point and drive that Yellow/checked one.

Simon is from Birkdale and drives a black Cooper with white wheels and white bonnet stripes.

Ross is from Ormiston and drives the same spec as yours

There's Veronica who drives the electric blue S from Birkdale

And Tony who's a friend of Ross' who drives an Electric blue S as well.

It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all...

If you ever see my little baby MINI getting around pop ova and say hi.

Rainy alternative - Food oriented

My alternative proposal would be Breakfast at Ausmini's, and then over Mt Mee with lunch at Munchkins (?? always wanted to go there), and then round Wivenhoe and get scones at Mt Glorious. Yeah, baby

Seeing Swamos has began a new thread MINI's and bananas, I has thinking of starting one called MINI owners in Navy uniforms!!! This is my testing ground right here.

This pic was taken in 1988 as I sought adventure by joining the navy. Now I own a MINI, the adventure keeps on taking new turns.

Hey, she started it !!!! (Apologies LUV2MINI)

It's not my fault if Steve's my Theory of Inverse Proportionality of Car sIze to Member Size (TIPCIMS, Ahem) is a little controversal. That's what they though about Darwins theory of evolution, and it was right too

Lightbulb This is getting crazy in here

With all this talk of 2$ hookers and men in uniform, I have taken it upon myself to start another thread where all you people that have nothing to do at work other than post on MINI2 can go for gold, and hope to reach Smut Heaven. I must admit I've been in my posts a little too much of late too

Go on, knock yourselves out here....

I am more than happy to have a BBQ at my place. Shouldn't be a problem weather permitting. We live in a cul-de-sac too so parking wouldn't be a problem. We have a large BBQ too. I'd be thinking, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, thick toast, my famous home made hash browns, and plenty of OJ (the drink, not the killer).

The problem would be a run to Mt Glorious after because we'd hit 1000 traffic lights. A run south to Mt Tambourine would be easier from a logistical point. But who knows, the weather could be clear on the 2nd.
