Red Cooper Which Melb dealer?

First of all, apologies for posting this in the 'Meeting and Events' section, I am not sure where this should be placed as I am after response from Melb/Aust people.

Any comments on which Melbourne dealer offers the best service/customer service?

Chris, I presume that you mean car servicing, since you're now the owner of one.

I bought my MCS from Bib Stillwell, and have had extremely good service from them. The whole sales process was great, as Nick and Simon are two guys who make you feel comfortable about the whole purchase process.

The service centre at BS opens at 7:30am and goes through till 11pm Mon-Fri and is open all day Saturday till 4 or 5pm. If you book in early enough you can ask for a free loaner, in my case it's been a 318ti.

The guys there are very good, very efficient and detailed. The car is always returned spotless, vacuumed and washed. It may all be standard BMW fare, but I'm impressed. All of my visits are followed up with either a phone call and/or a customer feedback card. They're keen to impress.

Regards, ElTel

Hi Ratboy

Yes that was me in Shepparton on Saturday. Trying to clock up some kms on the car. Sure was a tight squeeze with all the baby stuff (pram, bags, etc), and trying to fit the shopping from factory outlets.

See you around sometime.

Hi Eltel

You are right, I am asking from a servicing perspective. As I did not purchase my car from a local MINI dealer, I am looking for the best/right place to get me car serviced.

I am not really impressed with my local dealer.

i'll second ElTel on that..
I am from Sydney and dropped into Bib Stillwell as the oil was like new and i couldn't see for sure where the level was. I found it hard to tell what it was actually reading.. I told them the problem and they asked where the car was and i pointed to it... they said, "leave it to us sir, we will have a look for you, is there anything else you wish us to look at whilst we have it??".. I said "no thanks, it's running great"...
They directed me to the coffee area and showed me the cakes, buscuits and cappuccino machine and told me to make myself comfortable..
10 mins later they came back and gave me my keys and informed me that they added a half litre of oil, checked to see if there were any other low fluids and the car was right to go...
I asked if i owed them anything (never had a new car before) and they said "No, we are glad we could help you out.."

I was totally impressed..
