Offline | I'm hoping to be there with my G/F (she'll only come on the condition I drive in a somewhat proper (ie legal) manner). |

Offline | Mr Mow, you got a Cooper S??? Congrats!!! I just traded in my car yesterday actually. Things just didn't work out for me with the car. I was just getting agro with all the problems eventhough I had been interstate mainly and hardly driven the car. I have been invited back to a TT drive day on 18th May. Looks like we are going to Lorne. Do you guys want to meet up with the TT guys on the day? Up to you. I now have neither a TT nor a Cooper S. |

Offline | WAY, good to hear from you again. Sorry that things didn't work out, you looked good behind the wheel of a Cooper S. Might pass on the Lorne idea with the TT club, the swamos drive will be mainly a social day. Good luck in the future, you know where we are. ![]() Regards, ElTel |

Offline | Too bad about the agro you've had, I had a bucket load with my original cooper too, One thing I've learned, never buy a new car within its first year of production! (don't tell me you've bought a 350Z?).See you round. |

Offline | The swamos drive will depart from somewhere in St.Kilda at 10am. Proceed down Nepean Hwy, stopping at Arthur's seat for a great view of the bay and Melbourne, then along the edge of the bay from Dromana to Portsea Pub for lunch. ('Better be good.) Then back to Sorrento for a 1/2 hour ferry ride across to Queenscliff. If people wish to end the day at that time that's fine, else join us on the ferry trip. The ferry drops us at quaint Queenscliff and we can explore the Bellarine Peninsula then home through Geelong to Melbourne. The ferry cost $44 for car and driver, $4 for extra adults. It's a very enjoyable ride with great scenery. http://www.visitvictoria.com.au/disp...05E0/vvt.vhtml Please keep checking this thread in the next week to get further updates. Regards, ElTel |

Offline | Nice idea, Dom. I'll see if I can contact them tomorrow. If so I'll need to know numbers. Here's a map of the ferry journey, starting at Sorrento, landing at Queenscliff. |

Offline | Thanks for the update Eltel. May I suggest meeting at the St Kilda Marina car park area. An excellent photo shoot opportunity with the Marina as backdrop. Chris |
