Offline | Dale, great to hear from you again after the GOR drive. That was a very satisfying drive. Hope this one is is ok too, but at a more leisurely pace. Was it James that was with you last time? I can see us trying to get onto the 3pm ferry, and I've told them that there are about 10 cars wanting to make the trip. Was it very busy when you went, and what time of day did you catch the ferry? Got any ideas for stop offs on the Bellarine Peninsula? Looking forward to seeing you on the day. Regards, ElTel |

Offline | Good idea, DJP. We need to get some firm numbers. I'll make up a list of promisees tonight and ask people to confirm numbers. Now how do we organise 10 parking spots out the front? ![]() |

Offline | Currently the list of attendees is swamos and wife, Spazz, eltel and wife, ccsmini, wife and child, CoopeR (possibly less girlfriend, )ratboy, wife and 2 children MrMow and girlfriend DJP and girlfriend (plus others?) I will probably make a booking at Portsea Pub for this number, so if things change, please let me know asap. We'll understand if you don't join us on the ferry, you are under no obligation to do so, we'll bid you farewell at Sorrento. There's plenty of things to do on the Mornington Peninsula if you have some spare time after lunch. After a long lunch, we need to be at the Sorrento ferry terminal by 2:30 to line up for the 3:00pm ferry. Depending on how we are going for time we may try to make the 2:00 ferry and give ourselves a bit more time on the other side of the bay. Feel free to call me on 0414 44 22 09 if you have any questions or suggestions. Till then, drive carefully, ElTel |

Offline | Tez i traveled at 1:00 pm on the easter sunday and rocked up just in time to catch the ferry. there was a whole queue reserved for "small" cars and there were very few on that day. mostly 4wd and sedans. there should'nt be a problem getting on the ferry at 3:00pm but you will need to be at the terminal waiting about 45mins before departure to guarantee a berth. as for bellarine penisula i dont know of any spots to look at other than queenscliff or barwon heads but theres not much there. you could however go to the foreshore of eastern beach in geelong for some photo ops. james wont be coming however as he is "on assignment". i think that means he was so scared of the little cars last time time i should be able to gather another potential victim.....er sorry pasanger for the runcant wait till the 18th....must stay calm and keep playing xbox as i can throw the cooper s around without all the screaming...... Offline | I have made a booking for lunch at the Portsea Hotel for 20 people for 12:30. The lady assures me that it should not be too busy. If we get extra people turning up then we should still get in. The main meal is $16 - $22, with childrens meals available. So please budget accordingly, especially if you're taking the ferry across the bay. If the weather is anything like today, it will be a superb day and the views from various stopping points will be breathtaking. Till then, ElTel |

Offline | Matt, no problem. The St Kilda Marina is at the corner of Marine Parade and Dickens St , Melways map 67 Ref A1. If you are coming from the city go past Luna Park and continue south. Turn right into the Marina carpark at the BP service station. See attached map. We are meeting at 9:30am for a 10:00am shove-off. Changed my mind, we'll meet at 9:00 for a 9:30 kick-off. The trip to portsea will take at least 2 hrs driving and we want to stop at a couple of places for sight seeing. A full post of expected itinerary and time will follow in a little while.
