I'll match that bid and pick them up from Sydney. Hey Maybe we could go for a Sydney MINI run while I'm down there? Maybe one or two other Brisbane MINI Pilots may want to drive down for a long weekend?

Just as a Guide, Motorline in Brisbane have got a new set for $1,700 with tyres. They come off an "S" where the new owner wanted 18's. Oh to have a set of 18's.

My dealer told me that one 17" S-spoke with runflat rubber was worth $900 brand new!

Boo I love the wheels

When my tyres wear out I wouldn't mind some 18" OZ rims (Superlegerra maybe?)

I wanted to get some Superlegerra rims but they didn't have any race spec to fit the Mini, but have grown to love mine and the give better clearance to cool the brakes

Nothing wrong with 15s. Get a set of 205/55R15 Yokohama A032Rs. Won't hear any squealing from the tyres, but your wallet may start squealing a bit every time you slide it through a corner, hand brake turn etc etc.

Might see if I can get a photo for you of what happened when I did a motorkhana demo for the Ford & Holden show in Adelaide (went through $1200 worth of tyres!)

BTW Boo, those look like the Bridgestone RE540S. Are they for "special occasions"?

Bought them for the track, done 8 track days with them and have gone through approx 50% of the tread...
