The BMW Nationals are on this weekend. On Saturday there is a Show and Shine followed by Motorsport on the Sunday.

I know both Robbo and I are in the Motorkhana and Supersprint at Oran Park on Sunday, just wondering if anyone else is coming along for the fun

Motorkhana is in the morning (Robbo won the last one) and the Supersprint in the afternoon..

If you aren't entered, come along and watch the fun... should be a good day

BUT have left it too late probably

Hi Andrew, I'll be in Port Macquarie for a couple of days, back Saturday night. I'll try and get a leave pass and get out to Oran Park Sunday.

I am currently holidaying in Sunny Queensland, bummin around on the beach (lifes tough!).

I get back late Saturday night, but will definitely make it on Sunday.

This 635 ate some dirt in the second session... the first of the guys to test their cars offroad

PS. No damage was done on the day to any of the great machinery..

wow! A Meschersmitt! (is that what the little red car is called or am I totally wrong?) Looks like an awesome day.

I would rather have been there than drinking dirt flavoured water (oops, I mean cava) by myself bored out of my brain in a resort full of mums and dads and kids...

Why are the front foglights on that MCS taped up?

That would be a BMW Isetta circa 1953.

Hi,

The front foglights are taped up to comply with CAMS regulations. Forward facing glass must be taped up.

Also, you will notice a secondary bonnet restraint strap (also CAMS). There is also a little red thingy on the front, which is a transponder, used to time the laps.
