I'm in
two tickets and 1 carpark thanks to the melbourne show

and i think the ticket price is good for the charity to make some money. as its just 2 times over the speed limit by 3 kph in victoria. or 15 kph over in one go..

speeding tickets are now a form of currency south of the border..

Had a good meet with Mini Aus last night. Will post info early next week. I will be coming to Melbourne at the end of the month to meet with the Vic MINI guys.

Just a question, I know it's a bit early but should we let the TV Network ie Fox, 10,7,9 know about it? They often cover film premieres, Good chance to get our Mini's on the tv. Good publicity for MINI2.com too!

Absolutely .... red carpet, celebs (including MINI's), media etc etc..... see you there, your MINI will ensure you have VIP status, pride of place parking and all the trimmings.

Why is AUgust so long away. I can't wait, I've downloaded the quick time trailer a few times to watch it. can it be saved somehow??

Plus I bags 2nd to have my photo taken with Charlize Theron, she better be there considering I'm going to drive about 1000km to get there. (if I don't lose my licence as I have to drive there via Bathurst)

Hi dsakko,

We are hoping to do a premiere in Adelaide and Perth in addition to the Eastern States. We are still finalising details with the distributors. MINI2 AUS will be the first to know ... check in occasionally or subscribe to this thread to keep informed.

Hi Al,

If Charlize is at any of the premieres (which is a possibility, if the distributors can persuade her to head down under), I think it is quite possible there will be a long long long line of prospective suitors vying for her attention and a pic or two.

Fantastic - count me in for two tickets. I pick up my Cooper S today and it is kitted out just like the red one!!

It will be a great night and I can't wait to see all those minis in one place together - way cool!!

Normally - we would love to, but we have a lunch with a friend we haven't seen for a couple of years and traditionally it can make for dinner as well, so I don't think I'll be up for a drive on the Sunday - but I'll keep my ears open for the next event.
