Offline | Until it gets to the dealer that is. I spoke to the dealer on Saturday and they said another three weeks - somehow I don't think so given the info I found tonight. I'll be in the second week of my hunger strike on their front step if thats the case ![]() |

Offline | Well I know how you're feeling - fit to burst no doubt. I'm almost tempted to do a Nullabour run one of these days to take it home to Albany for a run around. Hell 3500 k's and 200 million roo's isn't that much of an obstacle. ![]() |

| Polisher's Elbow sufferer | The wait is worth it! I waited 4 & half months for my MC. Had it just over a week now, half run-in now and I actually get irritable if I don't get a chance to drive it every day. Backing it into the garage doesn't count! Enjoy every minute, m8, cos I do. If driving a Mini doesn't make you feel alive, you're probably dead!! March '03 Chilli Red Cooper, white roof/mirrors, white 5 stars with runflats, white bonnet stripes, spot lights, K&N filter.........yummy!!! |

Offline | Hi, Hey I was working in Campbelltown today, which is right next door to Minto! As alluded to in a post above, Minto is definitely not a place you would want to to park your car. Even the cops and fire brigade are sometimes afraid to go there. Fortunately they have a huge secure storage yard there where many cars are held by various manufacturers. I drove by it today, but didn't see any minis! I hope you have film for the camera (or batteries for the digicam) ready to post pictures. By the way, I am sure you will find the wait is worth it! Offline | Re: in the ghettoooooo... Don't even think about it. ![]() Digital camera is ready and charged. My boss has been told not to expect to see me for a few days when it arrives. The one biggie left to do is to get an external car cover - any suggestions? Hmmmm must choose appropriate music, high turnover fuel station, ceremonial undies etc etc - so many decisions ![]() |

| MINI Traitor | Re: Re: in the ghettoooooo... There is an Australian made car cover by Kenco that is excellent. It is supposed to stop scratching, and all those other things that go with car covers. I bought mine for about $80 bucks. As for ceremonies, we had a MINI party in our garage, with re-runs of the italian job !!! Here are some pics of the night ..... Clubman less.... ![]() Last edited by swamos : Apr 29th, 2003 at 06:10 PM. |

Offline | Party looks fun, if only I had a garage. Standing under a one car carport just isn't the same. Time to buy a new place with a showroom, I mean garage, to keep my MINI in a manner its been accustomed to.So is a Kenco $80 bucks carcover level pegging with the official MINI $300+ product. The extra 220 will come in handy to keep the tank filled for a few more days. |
