Offline | Saw 7 Minis last night.. Damn things are everywhere, 5 Cooper S' and 2 Coopers in about 15 mins (Between Camberwell --> Kew --> Hoddle Street). Not to mention the 3 Cooper S' around my building (off St Kilda rd) and one cooper.. Its looking like the Renault Clio Sport is the uncommon hot hatch now. |

Offline | the new beetle and the Mini do have similar headlights... but surely a Daihatsu couldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as a Mini!  the only thing they have in common is that they are small. thats it Where have I been for all these months? |

Offline | oh don't you worry...the Mini kills the new beetle in every respect...after all, the beetle is just a cynical marketing exercise of VW and the car shares nothing with its predecessor except for the shape...its a Golf for goodness sake! and it's got the performance of...well...um...well its engine sounds like a cow being skinned alive (not that I know what that sounds like, but I read it in a magazine somewhere that the 2.0L beetle sounds like that) i should know...I've still got a new beetle in the garage...i drive it probably once a month...although maybe I shouldn't even admit that, I'll get lynched here Where have I been for all these months? |
