The July Drive Day is shaping up to be the biggest MINI MEET held in Australia todate. Over 34 MCS/MC's have registered so far all of whom will go into the draw for two tickets to the Gala Premiere for THE ITALIAN JOB on Monday August 11.

Thanks for all the support everybody. Whilst organising an event like this is sometimes frustrating as anyone who has organised a picnic day will attest, you guys make it very worhtwhile.

We look forward to seeing you all on July 13 and having a great time on a drive we are sure will be talked about for sometime to come.

Best regards to all and keep an eye on this thread as we will be posting info right up to the day.

July 13 MINI2 Drive: 'Breakfast Briefing' Our breakfast briefing will be held at Moltofino Restaurant 24 The Strand at Dee Why. Breakfast starts at 7.00am. The briefing will start at 7.45am and we will start to move away by 8.15am. Directions and Parking Coming from the south turn right from Pittwater Rd into Oaks Ave (Subway on corner) go all the way to the beach and turn left into The Strand. From the north turn left into Dee Why Pde. If you get there early you will be able to park on the street in front of the restaurant otherwise park behind Dee Why Surf Club. All vehicles will be divided into smaller groups of 5 with a lead driver making 6 vehicles. The idea of this is to keep communications simple. Vehicles will be able to communicate and follow lead drivers to each pit stop. Own Groups For those who wish to organise their own groups before the day please let me have your group details including your noiminated lead driver asap. Send to brad.robinson@mini2.com.au With stops we will arrive at Riverside Oaks for lunch between 12.30 and 1pm. We have special parking organised for which we will provide details at the briefing. Fuel Whilst we have a number of stops on the drive there are few Hi-Octane fuel locations between Dee Why and Riverside Oaks due to the route the drive takes. We would recommend you fill up on the way to breakfast or the night before. (See our BP Ultimate locator)

Professional Camera Operator needs a lift

We have four professional camera operators filming the Drive for a special project we are putting together. One of the guys needs a ride.

We also need a few more lead drivers to help make the day great for everyone attending. Communicating in smaller groups helps keep everything running smoothly and safely. At this stage we have 4 leads and we really need at least another two.

Best regards

Brad

Brad

I would be happy to have one of the guys with me as I don't have any passengers.
