just wondering why there are so many minis under the "mini garage syd" category?

is that for promotional purposes?...

im dont think i will be able to make this run.. i will let you know soon if i can attend though.,.thanks brad

Hi Ben,

As the Dealer Sponsor, MINI Garage Sydney are very keen to support the club and help demonstrate the benefits of being a member of MINI2 to their owners. In order to do this they need to be able assure owners, they personally invite, will have a position on the Drive.

Venues are the only reason for restricting numbers.

When we need to provide lunch for up to 100 people, park 50 MINI's and hope to provide a level of service and quality our members and owners expect, on Drive routes that invariably see us some way from Sydney, then we have few choices available to us other than to restrict the number of participants.

Apart from the Italian Job Previews, this will be the biggest gathering of MINI's on any Drive Day held so far in Australia. 50 MINI's will stretch from one end of Berry's main street to the other and what a sight that will be.

Reserve a spot Ben, we will be running a waiting list on this event. If you can't make it, we'll promote the next person on the waiting list. Better to have the option than to find you can go and there isn't room.

Hi, It looks like i have to work on the weekend of the Mini Drive, so perhaps you should let someone else have my spot.
BTW you might warn everyone that there are road works on the Pheasant s Nest bridge north bound on the Hume Hwy at present and last Sunday evening it took me 90 mins to travel 10k between the Bargo T/O and the Bridge. As your planned route brings you past these roadwaorks on the way home it might pay to follow the Bargo T/O (Remembrance Drive) to Picton and then Picton Road out to the Hume Hwy (Freeway), this gets you past the road works and all the traffic.

Thanks for the tip Mini2v. I'll head down there early in the morning (Sunday) and organise an alternative return if roadworks are continuing into the weekend of our drive.
