Red Bull are supporting MINI2.CLUBS and will feature the new Red Bull MINI's at the Breakfast Briefing for the September Drive in Sydney.

Red Bulls' Mobile Energiser Team will be our guest speakers for the Breakfast Briefing. What is a Mobile Energiser team you may ask?

It is in fact the name given to Red Bull's sampling team members whose job it is to drive to set locations (‘in their MINI's’) and ‘energise' MINI owners with Red Bull energy drink when they need it most i.e. MINI owners about to head off on a drive to the South Coast.

Welcome aboard Red Bull, we look forward to a long and energised association with MINI2.CLUBS

Thank You

Another great MINI day, although the weather bureau really got it wrong. I think we had three seasons in one day. Loved the run up the mountain particularly following one of the Works MINI's and at one stage, the Red Porshe that had joined us.

The detour around Pheasants Nest proved to be a bit of a dampner particularly when I took a wrong turn and added another 30+ minutes to the trip home. Sorry guys, it was a long day and I jumped on the wrong exit when I saw the Narellan sign.

THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS;
  • MINI Garage Sydney - Shaw Harrison and Stephen Gregory
  • KMS Haircare - Alan Earnshaw for the great packs of goodies
  • The Lord Nelson - Blair Hayden for both breakfast and the mixed dozen of Blair's own wine (Haydens) we had over lunch.
  • Sheather Bros Printers - Darryl Sheather who worked Friday night and Saturday to get our reccy sheets out in time for the day.
  • Pirelli - Amanda Wilson for the Pirelli pens
  • City Clinic - Elizabeth Abbate for the pads (and letting me have the day with a bunch of great MINI owners while she stayed home, very pregnant.)
  • MapsData Systems - Eric Harrison who helps us with our mapping
  • Red Bull - Jacqui Cullen who organised the Red Bull energisers to be on hand with the new Red Bull MINI and some much needed energy boosters
  • Adobe Systems - Nick Hodge (nhodge) who continually puts together a short movie of our events and has provided the club with some great software which we will eventually put to good use
  • Woodbyne Restaurant - Nadine Cole who put on a great lunch
  • Stephen Green (warped) who very generously gave us the MINI BULLDOG to offer as a lucky door prize .... and special thanks to a great bunch of MINI owners who really make these days a pleasure to be involved in.
See you all again on November 30 for our last Drive event for 2003.

Best regards

Brad

Sam

I didn't actually drive like that all the way honest. I had been sitting behind another vehicle for most of the way and after passing two speed traps between Goullburn and Canberra figured that......well you know

And Gazah you weren't holding me up .... I was just keeping up

That may have been the guys returning my car from the detailers. If I see another MINI on the road I try and hang with it.

PS: Love the look of your car, It was my next choice. Maybe my next when we get an S to add to the family.
