MINI.CLUBS - Partner a MINI Owner Program

MINI.CLUBS, NSW Chapter has introduced a new program to our Drives for people who may have ordered their MINI and are yet to take delivery or haven't ordered however are thinking seriously of doing so.

There is no better way to experience the MINI adventure before you buy or take delivery than on a MINI.CLUBS Drive. On the way to our luncheon destination or on the return journey passengers will have an opportunity to drive a MINI on some great MINI roads.

If you have ordered a MINI or are thinking about it, book your place on our next Drive by contacting drivedays@miniclubs.com.au with your details.

MINI2 members and owners who would like to be part of the program or have any comments post a reply to this thread.

I'm in! Anyone from the ACT region who wants to come along is always welcome - they'll have to put up with my music though (its not that bad but my kids may beg to differ - for example I ask you, whats wrong with "The Doors" )

Not a bad idea and Brisbane BMW have floated the idea with clubMINI. The problem I forsee is that CAMS and Marque insurance only covers fellow members of the organisation/club.

Personally I am a bit reluctant.

We looked at the insurance angle prior announcing the concept and as long as we don't pick up hitch hikers or charge the passenger a 'fee to ride' then it's fine. MINI Drive Pak fees, lunch costs, park fees etc are fine as these are not regarded as charges specifically for the passenger to ride in the MINI.

If we are using a race track then that is an entirely different matter and requires specific insurance over and above our normal cover.

We are preparing a mailing re the 'Partner a MINI Owner Program' and other MINI2 Club activities for the Dealer Network. Please feel free to mention it when talking to your MINI Dealer(s). Any communication of potential benefits MINI2 Clubs offers Dealers and owners is good reinforcement of the Clubs value.

All MINI2 members should keep their eye on our the MINI2 Clubs NEWS Page for latest club activities: MINI2 NSW/ACT MINI2 VIC (incl. SA & TAS)
